Modular hierarchical modelling with SIMCOS language
نویسنده
چکیده
The paper deals with the modular hierarchical modelling and simulation possibilities of the simulation language SIMCOS. After a brief description of the modular modelling possibilities of modern modelling and simulation tools, the emphasis is put on the concept of precompiled dynamic submodels implemented in the SIMCOS simulation language. The simulation processor distinguishes between static, dynamic, continuous, discrete, delayed and non-delayed modelling constructs. Thus a very powerful simulation system with automatic sorting and runtime self-configuration was obtained. The precompiled modelling constructs can be used with textual or graphical modelling. In addition, a preprocessor for hierarchical modelling similar to the macro concept in modern simulation tools was also implemented. ____________________________________________________________________________

Adaptation for Hierarchical Components and Services
Software coordination and adaptation are tightly related to modular software entities and access points. These entities (components or services) may be complex, dissimilar (various models) and designed at different granularity levels. In order to allow interoperability we need rich interface descriptions including service hierarchisation, flexible declarations and precise specifications. In thi...
متن کاملAn environment for DEVS-based multiformalism simulation in Common Lisp/CLOS
The paper presents the realization of an object-oriented kernel of a new modelling and simulation environment. The kernel system stands out as it is based on systems theoretical concepts and facilitates combined discrete-continuous, modular, hierarchical modelling. Its implementation language is the AI language Common Lisp and its object-oriented superset CLOS. The kernel system serves as the b...
متن کاملFixed Point Results for Cyclic (α,β)-Admissible Type F-Contractions in Modular Spaces
In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for cyclic (α,β)-admissible type F-contraction and F−weak contraction under the setting of modular spaces, where the modular is convex and satisfying the ∆2-condition. Later, we prove some periodic point results for self-mappings on a modular space. We also give some examples to s...
متن کاملMixins and Extenders for Modular Metamodel Customisation
Metamodelling is a practical yet rigorous formalism for modelling language definition with a metamodel being its pivotal engineering artifact. A multitude of domain-specific modelling languages (DSML) are engineered to cover various modelling domains. Metamodels of such languages evolve over time by introducing changes and extensions and are further customised to suite project-specific needs. W...
متن کاملRe nement for Hierarchical HybridSystems ?
In this paper, we develop a theory of modular design and reene-ment of hierarchical hybrid systems. In particular, we present compositional trace-based semantics for the language Charon that allows modular specii-cation of interacting hybrid systems. For hierarchical description of the system architecture, Charon supports building complex agents via the operations of instantiation, hiding, and ...
